Try to apply at least 40 tonnes of well-rotted cow dung per acre during the last tillage and 50 kg Nitrogen, 25 kg Phosphorous and 25 kg Potash. Apply a full dose of cow dung, MOP and SSP and half dose of urea before transplanting. Apply a remaining amount of urea as a top dressing after four weeks of transplanting.
